Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus to shut down
After 146 years, the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey are closing down "The Greatest Show on Earth." The historic circus will deliver its final show in May. Patrick Leroux, associate professor in the department of English and Département d’études françaises, is an expert on contemporary circus arts and the founding director of the Montreal Working Group on Circus Research. He can talk about the closing of the big top.
