Developing situation in Aleppo

Early Monday morning (December 12) the Syrian military regained control over East Aleppo from rebel forces. However, the UN is saying that concern for noncombatant safety is still a major concern, as militia forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad have reportedly killed 82 civilians. Kyle Matthews, executive director for the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS), can weigh in on the developing situation in Aleppo.
