When the World Speeds up, You Need to Keep up. Are You Future Ready?

Traditional executive education programs have underplayed essential soft skills in favour of discipline-based skill sets.

Professionals across all industries recognize that the world is changing rapidly. The 2018 Globe and Mail report There is a future for jobs: We’re just not ready for it predicts that in the next 10 years, 50% of Canadian jobs will undergo massive changes in required skills. As a result, leaders (managers, directors and executives) who want to stay competitive and advance their careers are embracing a culture of lifelong learning. Traditional executive education programs have underplayed essential soft skills in favour of discipline-based skill sets, such as strategy development and financial analysis. Whilst these are essential skills, in a world fuelled by technological innovations, honing skills such as creativity, complex decision making, emotional intelligence and communication are paramount in preparing leaders for the future.

At the John Molson Executive Centre, our programs are designed to prepare leaders to take charge in a changing world.
