Thomas Walker and Rahul Ravi to lead David O’Brien Centre for Sustainable Enterprise

Finance professors named co-directors of JMSB research centre

Stéphane Brutus, interim dean of the John Molson School of Business has announced that Thomas Walker and Rahul Ravi have been appointed co-directors of the David O’Brien Centre for Sustainable Enterprise (DOCSE).

Walker is a professor of finance and is currently the associate dean responsible for JMSB research and research programs. He has served as chair of the Department of Finance and has been extensively involved with DOCSE over the last few years. He has been serving as interim director since 2015.

Ravi is an associate professor of finance. His research interests are in market microstructure and initial public offerings (IPO), corporate social responsibility and family firms.

“I would like to congratulate Thomas and Rahul on their appointment,” says Brutus. “They bring solid leadership to the Centre, where many exciting projects are already underway.”
