Jooseop Lim named Interim Chair of the Department of Marketing

B. Kemal Büyükkurt wraps up his term on June 1

Stéphane Brutus, interim dean of the John Molson School of Business has announced that Jooseop Lim has been appointed Interim Chair of the Department of Marketing. Lim replaces B. Kemal Büyükkurt who has held the post for the past year. “I would like to thank Kemal for his work as chair, and I wish Jooseop the very best in his upcoming term which begins on June 1,” said Brutus. 

Lim is an associate professor whose research in the areas of advertising and R&D effects on financial measures, dynamic price promotion effects, and demand forecasting in the movie and game industries has been published widely, including in the Journal of Marketing and the International Journal of Research in Marketing.
