Strong Concordia presence at NADTA Conference in Kansas City | October 2018


Concordia presenters at the 39th Annual North American Drama Therapy Association Conference include: Professors Jessica Bleuer, Bonnie Harnden and Stephen Snow; current students Meaghen Buckley and Rhiannon Perley-Waugh, and alumni Calli Armstrong, Jason Butler, Michael de Jong, Elliot Maxwell, Csilla Przibislawsky, Nisha Sajnani, Charlotte Steuter-Martin, and Angela Tauber.

Drama therapy graduate student Meaghen Buckley presented in and facilitated multiple events at the 39th annual NADTA conference in Kansas City, MO, including performing in the all-conference Diversity Forum on Race in the Clinical Space and presenting her own research in a workshop titled "Performing Ambiguity: Representing the Unknown in Drama Therapy". She was also granted the NADTA Student Service Award for her outstanding service to the student community.

Professor Jessica Bleuer was awarded the NADTA Raymond Jacobs Diversity Award for her outstanding contribution to pushing the Drama Therapy field forward on topics on cultural equity.
