AATA Scholarship Opportunities

Concordia University’s Art Therapy program is approved by the AATA’s Education Programs Approval Board. New and returning students as well as recent alumni may be eligible to apply for these awards. Any questions can be directed to info@arttherapy.org

Message from the American Art Therapy Association Scholarship Working Group:

The Scholarship Working Group is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for our Student and New Professional scholarships for the 2017 American Art Therapy Conference. The American Art Therapy Association (AATA) and its generous donors provide several annual awards which are presented at the Annual Conference to encourage growth of the art therapy profession.

Students applying for the awards must be enrolled for Fall 2017 classes in an Education Programs Approval Board (EPAB) approved Graduate Art Therapy Program. Part-time students are eligible, but must be enrolled for at least four courses for this upcoming fall semester. Attendance to the AATA’s Annual Conference is considered in the application selection process, and in some cases, attendance is mandatory for acceptance of the award.
