|

Photographer and Film Studies teacher Robert Del Tredici with curator John O’Brian will present images on the nuclear age at the Jarislowsky Institute (3rd floor, EV Bldg) on 16 February 2017, at 4:00 pm after a 2:00 tour of the Center for Contemporary Architecture exhibition “It’s All Happening So Fast.”

The joint presentation is given to honor the CCA exhibition.

Robert Del Tredici has been photographing multiple aspects of the nuclear age since the 1979 nuclear meltdown at Three Mile Island. His most celebrated book, At Work in the Fields of the Bomb, featured all twelve of the U.S. H-bomb factories. He has also photographed a-bomb survivors in Hiroshima and nuclear victims, protesters, and sites in Kazakhstan and Russia. He teaches The History and the Art of Animated Film at Concordia downtown and Photojournalism in the Loyola Communications program.

Del Tredici is founder of The Atomic Photographers Guild, a collective of 30 international photographers dedicated to making visible all aspects of the nuclear age.
