Rachel Jekanowski: Wins a Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship!

The most prestigious Postdoctoral award in Canada has found its rightful place in the hands of Dr. Rachel Jekanowksi, recent graduate of our PhD program. She is off to Memorial University with a project entitled "Envisioning Offshore Oil: Oceans, Energy, Futures," which continues Rachel’s groundbreaking research on the relationship between cinema and the environment, with a particular emphasis on the ocean, oil, and the politics of energy. Her position will continue until July 2021. Congratulations Rachel!
