Book Launch: Eleanor Bond: Mountain of Shame

October 17, 2017
|

Faculty member Dr. Johanne Sloan will be in conversation with artists Eleanor Bond (Associate Professor, Concordia) and Cynthia Renard-Girard at the Eleanor Bond: Mountain of Shame Book Launch.

This conversation will be about the abstraction, experimentation with sculpture, and subjective emphasis of the Mountain of Shame exhibition. It will also be touching on the paintings of urban and architectural spaces for which Eleanor Bond is well-known.

Eleanor Bond: Mountain of Shame is an exhibition catalogue published by Plug In ICA (Winnipeg) in collaboration with the Illingworth Kerr Gallery (Calgary).

The event will take place at the Gail and Stephen Jarislowsky Institute for Studies in Canadian Art (EV 3.711) on Thursday, October 19th at 4:30 pm.
