March 4, 2017
|

The 6th annual Undergraduate Art History Conference, organized by the Concordia Undergraduate Journal of Art History, took place March 2-4, 2017. As revealed by the title Subversions, the conference focused on people and events that challenge and provoke societal norms.

The three-day event consisted of two student panels and a professional panel between Eunice Bélidor, the Programming Coordinator for Articule, Pip Day, the Director and Curator of the SBC Gallery, and Dr. Shauna Janssen, the artist-in-residence of Concordia University’s Department of Theatre and Studio Arts. There were also two workshops open to the public: a meme-making workshop led by artist GothShakira and a zine-making workshop.
