Professor Kaell organizes major national conference for Canada's 150th, May 18-20, 2017


Professor Kaell is one of a three-member organizing team for Restorying Canada: Reconsidering Religion and Public Memory, a major national conference taking place at the University of Ottawa from 18-20 May, 2017. Funded by SSHRC and the Ministry of Heritage, the event brings together scholars of religion from around the country to reconsider religion in light of Canada's 150th anniversary. Keynote speakers and performers include Margaret Atwood, Zarqa Nawaz, George Elliot Clarke, Cris Derksen, and Kent Monkman. All events are open to the public.
