The PSSA is proud to announce an exciting speaker series for the academic year 2014-2015! FORMER Concordia Students FOR Concordia Students is a collaboration between the PSSA, Faculty Coordinator Political Science professor Dr. Travis Smith and co-sponsored by The Political Science Department. We would like to not only showcase the achievements of Concordia's alumni but also to have the speakers pass on their knowledge and wisdom to our current students.

President of AIMS - Non-partisan think tank with a distinctive Atlantic Canadian perspective on economic and political issues

Marco Navarro-Génie completed his Bachelor of Arts at Concordia University in Political Science. While there, he was the President of the PSSA 1988-1989 and a recipient of the 1989 Jean H. Picard Scholarship. He went on to do a Master of Arts and PhD at the University of Calgary. He is currently the President and CEO of AIMS (Atlantic Institute for Market Studies), which specializes in public policy.
