The Department of Political Science is offering 2 scholarships. Apply now, the deadline is May 13, 2020

Jean H. Picard Scholarship

The department offers a scholarship of up to $1,000 to a returning Political Science student (Major or Honours, must be registered for the 2019-2020 academic year and must be registering for the 2020-2021 academic year).

The scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student on the basis of superior academic achievement, a personal statement as well as two reference letters (from university professors) written on behalf of the applicant.

Application form

The Zeidan Family Scholarship is a $2,000 in-course award open to returning (2nd or 3rd year) Political Science majors who have completed at least one course in the study of the modern Middle East.

The award will be given based on academic excellence and an essay (approximately 3,000 words) on the relations between Canada and the Arab or Muslim world (with “Arab” or "Muslim world” interpreted broadly to include the Arab/Muslim diaspora and immigrants or refugees in Canada).
