Drs. Ursula Eicker and Anjali Awasthi join the LSRC

We are very pleased to welcome Drs. Ursula Eicker and Anjali Awasthi as new associates of the Loyola Sustainability Research Centre. These two new colleagues from the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science will further increase the cross-disciplinary impact of the Centre.

Dr. Ursula Eicker is Concordia’s new Canada Excellence Research Chair in Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Communities and Cities and Professor in the Department of Building, Civil, and Environmental Engineering. Her research focuses on energy-efficient buildings, urban districts and sustainable energy systems, urban data and simulation platform development, renewable energies, and sustainable transport. Dr. Anjali Awasthi is Associate Professor at the Concordia Institute for Information Systems Engineering. Her research focuses on sustainable mobility, intelligent transportation systems, quality assurance in supply chain management, IT and decision making, and sustainable supply chain management.  

We look forward to developing new and existing collaborations with these two new members of the Centre!
