PhD student Aki Tsunemoto receives $87,000 scholarship from Japan

Aki Tsunemoto, a PhD student at Concordia’s Department of Education working with Prof. Pavel Trofimovich, was recently awarded a three-year Graduate Scholarship for Degree Seeking Students (¥7,578,000 = CAD $87,000) funded by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO;https://www.jasso.go.jp/en/index.html) one of the biggest scholarship/student loan organisations in Japan to support Japanese students who seek MA/PhD degrees in foreign universities.
