Dr. Ian Irvine speaks on the vilification of vaping

Posted on December 4, 2019

Dr. Irvine discusses the implications of the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention’s approach to vaping policy and public health, and how Canada has a choice to make between this approach and a more balanced strategy, such as the one used by Public Health England and the Royal College of Physicians. He argues that carefully evaluating the risks as opposed to focusing on a single aspect of vaping, such as increases in teen vaping numbers, will lead to better results in prevention and public health policies.
