From September 2015 through April 2016, the Department of Communication Studies at Concordia University will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of its founding. Beginning life in 1965 as the Department of Communication Arts at Loyola College, our groundbreaking programs in Communication Studies have cumulatively graduated almost 5,000 students, many of whom actively contribute to the media industry, the arts, communications and cultural policy, and academia.
