Congratulations to our Graduate Winners

The Azrieli Institute of Israel Studies is proud to announce the winners of this year’s Montefiore Grants: Heather Batchelor & Lindsey Jackson.  These graduate students come to the Institute from the Department of Religion.  Heather’s research is focused on the function of dance in the religious practice of Hasidic Jews while Lindsey’s research is focused on the ritual practices of contemporary Jewish communities.
