Samuel Rancourt is a TV news anchor and multimedia journalist with CBC/Radio-Canada in Manitoba. He earned a graduate diploma in journalism at Concordia, after completing a degree at l’Université du Québec à Montréal in cultural and media production strategy.
After being an intern/researcher for CBC Montreal, he went on to work for CBC/Radio-Canada in Vancouver and eventually moved to CBC/Radio-Canada Manitoba in 2015. He has a passion for community-related stories, from Canada’s last Trappist cheese-making monk to showcasing an organization creating music to help Indigenous youth.
He is currently studying the Francophonie history in North America at Université Laval.
