The Department of Economics will be welcoming two guests from Service Canada on Tuesday, November 12 at noon in H-1154.

Apply today for an opportunity to join the Data Analytics team at Service Canada. We are looking for dynamic candidates that will help shape and build the analytics of tomorrow.

Apply your skills in data mining, statistical analysis, and the creations of high quality data products.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it:  Detect fraud and misuse of information in core benefits programs through data exploration, algorithms, and visualization products.

You will also team up with experienced data analysts and data scientists working on data exploration, text mining, and machine learning projects.

Service Canada is looking for a specific profile of student, i.e. with interest in Data Analytics/ Data Science, modelling/econometrics, and coding in SAS/R/Python etc.
