Did you know that the federal government is Canada’s most diverse employer?  A wide range of career opportunities are available from coast to coast to coast.  The Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) provides full-time summer jobs and part-time jobs during the academic year for full-time students.  Last year, over a thousand students were hired across Québec, in a variety of jobs, such as administration, program management, scientific research support, and border services, in departments such as National Defense, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Service Canada, and Public Services and Procurement Canada.

On February 12th 2019, from 12:30 to 2 pm, representatives from the Public Service Commission of Canada will be sharing practical tips on how to apply to student jobs and to career opportunities in the federal government.  This session will also provide information on entrance exams, second language testing, benefits, and answers to your questions about working for the federal government.  We look forward to meeting you!

Career Opportunities being offered: The federal government hires students part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer in a wide range of fields. There are also many full-time career opportunities available for graduates of all majors and levels.
