This introductory workshop on online privacy will explain basic concepts of privacy on the internet and use the real concerns and questions of workshop participants to walk through the process of creating and using a privacy threat model. Emphasis will be placed on concrete steps participants can take to reduce their risk profile through their browsers and smartphones. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience or comfort level with technology – just bring your questions and interest!
