Quebecois Movie Nights
Every last Friday of the month, ISO invites you to watch a fun Quebecois movie, eat popcorn and learn more about this beautiful province! The screenings are also followed an informal discussion which everyone is welcome to participate. The goal is to discover local culture and the French language via Quebec's national cinema!
Whether you are learning French, looking into settling in Quebec after your studies, or simply curious of Quebecois culture, this series is for you!
Movie: Movie: French Immersion (2011), by Kevin Tierney
This hilarious comedy tells the story of a few Anglophones who move to a small village in the Saguenay region for an intensive French course. However, they have no French skills and are surrounded by only French speakers. The result... tons of fun for all audiences!
