The Health Talks series brings together researchers tackling health questions from various perspectives. During this session, graduate students and professors from six different labs will engage in an interdisciplinary dialogue about preventive health and technology.

From the possibilities of synthetic biology to the contributions of engineering to cardiology, come to 4TH SPACE to learn more about the role of technology in health. Be part of the conversation!

  • Bahareh Behboodi, graduate student in the IMPACT Lab: Image Processing and Characterization of Tissue, under the direction of Hassan Rivaz, associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Lyes Kadem, associate professor in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering and director of the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Fluid Dynamics
  • Brittany Intzandt, graduate student in the Vascular Imaging Lab, under the direction of Claudine Gauthier, assistant professor in the Department of Physics
  • Aurore Perrault, postdoctoral researcher at Concordia's PERFORM Centre
