It’s time to challenge the stigma that playing music is an activity reserved only for those gifted few. Like speaking and gesturing, musicking is a natural form of human expression. Come and experience the cognitive, social, emotional and physical benefits of recreational music making in this interactive workshop and discussion facilitated by Irene Feher, part-time faculty member in Concordia’s Department of Music and facilitator for Music For People.

All are welcome! Bring a musical instrument, bring your voice, bring your love of music — hand percussion instruments will be available on site.

This event is part of the Health Matters programming at 4TH SPACE.
