The Concordia Farmers' Market is a unique student-funded urban market located in the core of downtown Montreal at the centre of Concordia’s Sir George Williams Campus. Since 2014, the market has been working with small-scale farmers and local artisans who prioritize sustainability to bring healthy, affordable, local food and products to the community. The aim is to give the urban Montreal community access to organic, quality produce while promoting local economy.

The Concordia Farmers' Market sprouted out of a class project and later grew into a working group under the Concordia Food Coalition. Because of its success and the work needed to run the market, it became one of the Concordia Food Coalition’s core projects.

Farmers’ markets are essential in supporting local economy and smaller businesses, reducing waste, providing access to high quality produce, supporting sustainable practices and connecting communities. Organizers of the Concordia Farmers' Market focus on creating a minimal to zero-waste, local and organic market with new vendors every month.

You can find everything from chaga mushrooms to vegan milk to organic tomatoes to beautiful handmade jewellery and zero-waste beeswax wraps. With 17 vendors attending every market, it’s hard not to find something that will catch your eye.

Pop-up markets occur on the last Wednesday of the month in the Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Integrated Complex (EV) Atrium. Monthly night markets also take place on the second Wednesday of the month in the EV Building. To keep updated with where and when the markets will be, along with the selection of vendors, please check out the Concordia Farmers' Market Facebook and Instagram pages.
