Map the System 2018 Info Session
Do you have a passion for a social or environmental challenge you would like to investigate? Tackling global challenges starts with understanding a problem and its wider context, before developing a business plan or an idea to solve them.
The Map the System challenge provides an occasion for Concordia University students and the community to shine and demonstrate a deep understanding of a local social or environmental issue by mapping out the current landscape and identifying opportunities for positive change.
By participating in Map the System, you will have the opportunity to compete with other teams across Concordia University, and you could be selected to attend the Global Final in Oxford, UK where you will compete with teams from all over the world to win cash prizes.
You will work in a team to research a real-world problem, learn about organizations working in the field, and create a visual map of the system that others can learn from in the future.
During this challenge, you will have the opportunity to work closely with District 3's social coaches who will be providing support, from exploring ideas to honing your presentations.
Join us on Wednesday, December 6 and Thursday, December 14 to learn more on how you can get involved in the challenge, as well as meet our social coaches who will be accompanying you throughout your journey!
