Is it time for participatory democracy?
Is it enough that our participation in the democratic process should be limited to a vote every four years? Now that we have a new progressive mayor for the City of Montreal, we should be engaging seriously in the budget and other decisions that concern all citizens.
Donald Cuccioletta is a prolific writer, professor and political pundit. He is regularly invited by the media to comment on public affairs. He is a member of the Observatoire des États-Unis. He will speak about the importance of participatory democracy, especially on the municipal scene.
