Canada is about to engage in a massive transformation of its democratic system.

The Liberal Party, which came to power with a wide majority in the 2015 election, have announced that that election would be the last one to be run under our "first-past-the-post" system.

But what alternative system should Canadians choose? What principles should be brought to bear on the choice of an electoral system? How should the choice be made? And in the Canadian context, can it go forward without constitutional amendment? These questions and others will be addressed over the two days of the workshop.
