Sustainability Across Disciplines Conference: Day 2 of the 2-day conference
The Second Annual Sustainability Across Disciplines Conference will bring together professors, graduate students, and undergraduate students from across the University and from the Motnreal community to discuss sustainability. The conference will feature presentations by Concordia faculty and students on sustainability research on Thursday at Loyola and on Friday on the downtown campus.
On Friday, the conference will feature two panels:
(1)The politics of sustainability (9H15-10H15)
(2)The role of innovation in sustainability (13H30-14:15)
Also, there will be two round-table discussions
(2) How to build a career in sustainability (14h30-15h45) featuring Maude Lecourt (Internship Coordinator for the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment), Colleen Thorpe (Director of Educational Programming at Equiterre), Andrew Ross (senior associate within PwC Canada’s Sustainable Business Solutions), Jamie Nicholls (Mayor of the City of Hudson), and Chantal Forgues (Sustainability Coordinator at Environmental Health and Safety, Concordia)
