The Quinze40 mega-mall project

The developers behind a project to build a huge shopping and entertainment complex at the intersection of highway 40 and autoroute 15 have made details of their plan public. The mall will be called the Royalmount mega-mall, but has been unofficially dubbed the Quinze40. The complex would cost $1,7 billion and create about 10,000 jobs but critics are worried about its impact on traffic and existing shopping districts. Marketing lecturer Robert Soroka can analyse the risks and benefits of the proposed development.
