Canada extends military mission against ISIS
On Tuesday, March 24 Prime Minister Stephen Harper asked parliament to support an extension of Canada's military mission in the Middle East to help combat the Islamic State (ISIS). The extension would see troops in Iraq for up to a year, ending in March 2016. Kyle Matthews, senior deputy director of the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS), can weigh in on this issue.
