World Bipolar Day

Monday, March 30th is World Bipolar Day. Bipolar Disorder, also known as manic depression, is a mood disorder with extreme highs and lows and affects about 1 percent of the Canadian population. Mark Ellenbogen, associate professor in the Department of Psychology and researcher in the Centre for Research in Human Development, is an expert on the mood disorder. He recently released a study about the risks of growing up with a bipolar parent.
