Separatist polls being recognized
Russia has announced it will recognise separatist polls in Ukraine next weekend, sparking an angry reaction from Washington and Kyiv's newly elected pro-Western leaders. The announcement follows an increase in ceasefire violations following the parliamentary elections of October 23 in which President Petro Poroshenko and his allies won a decisive victory.
