Sugar shack fundraiser

Hospitality Concordia is inviting the entire university community to enjoy a sugar shack tasting menu from 12 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 11.

As you savour bite-sized variations on the classics, you’ll be raising funds for the MS Society.

Participants can tailor the experience to their budget and taste buds. The five themed stations even include vegan options. Register by April 5!

Meal options

$15: Gourmand — includes all stations, a beverage and maple taffy
$8: Reasonable — includes stations 1, 2 and 4, a beverage and maple taffy
$5: Sweet tooth — includes station 5, a beverage and maple taffy

For $2 enjoy a traditional maple taffy on snow!

To reduce waste, please remember to bring your own reusable mug.

Menu

Station 1: Appetizers
Maple-glazed ham and pineapple brochette

Smokey maple tempeh satay

Station 2: Salads
Maple quinoa and vegetable medley salad
or
Spring salad with old-fashioned maple vinaigrette

Station 3: Eggs
Loaded frittata d'érable

Vegan caramelized onion quiche

Station 4: Crepes and pancakes
Fair-trade banana pancakes with chocolate-maple syrup

Maple-nut trottoir pastry

Beverages include coffee, tea and flavoured water. Maple whipped cream is available for coffee drinkers.
