About the speakers:

Anne Whitelaw

Moderator: Anne Whitelaw, BFA 87, GrDip 92, PhD 96, is Concorida's vice-provost of Planning and Positioning. She joined the Department of Art History at Concordia in January 2011 following 11 years as a faculty member in the Department of Art and Design at the University of Alberta. She teaches the history of visual culture in Canada, theories of museums and exhibitions, historiography and archives, and the history of advertising. 

Andrew Barlett

Andrew Barlett, BA 16, is a John Molson School of Business student in the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. He was recruited to Stingers varsity football and has played for the team since 2010 and been a team captain for the past two seasons. Andrew works for Concordia's Department of Recreation and Athletics as a sports broadcaster for Stingers' varsity hockey and basketball webcasts. As an advocate of philanthropy and giving back, Andrew is involved in numerous charities and a volunteer role. 

Andrew Barlett

Fabio Balli is co-founder and lead of Breathing Games, an international community which creates respiratory health knowledge and technologies that can be freely reproduced. He is a Master's student in Concordia's Individualised program and recently became an affiliate of Milieux – Insitute for Arts, Culture and Technology. From there, he coordinated three game jams, as well as various grant applications and scientific communications. Fabio has 10 years of experience as an organizational consultant and holds a Swiss Master of Advanced Studies in Human Systems Engineering.
