  • 12 p.m.-1 p.m.

In today’s world, individual actions and ideas can create global impact.

How can individual actions make a global impact?

From global warming and natural disasters to environmental and economical sustainability, from political conflict, terrorism and international relations to regionally adaptive business practices and global markets, the world continues to constantly evolve and change around us.

Living in an age of instant global connection via the internet, the international community has become at once closer and more divided. Individual ideas, concepts and communications can be shared instantaneously with a few clicks of a button.

How can individual actions make a global impact? What things can we do as individuals to develop and contribute positively to our global community?

Panelists:

  • Peter StoettProfessor, Concordia's Department of Political Science and Director, Loyola Sustainability Research Centre
  • Jill DidurProfessor, Concordia's Department of English
