Simone's Library

On the 4th floor of the Simone de Beauvoir Institute we have Simone's Library where students, professors and research associates can browse the collection, borrow books, and find a quiet space to work.

Simone's Library

The library's collection provides resources for those interested in women's studies. The collection is composed of over 2200 books and is growing!

The library houses primarily non-fiction works, and is stronger in the social sciences. Our collection also includes an impressive number of feminist periodicals from the early 1970s onward. During opening hours, the Documentalist is available to assist with research, book loans and questions.

If you can’t find what you are looking for in Simone's Library, try the Concordia Library.

Simone's Research Corner

Adjacent to Simone's Library is Simone's Research Corner, a work space equipped with 4 computer stations. It is open daily from 9am to 4pm as well as during Simone’s Library hours.
