COVID-19 and Events
Please note: Due to the COVID-19 closure and the fact that the Forum Committee does not meet in the summer, we are not accepting any proposals until further notice.
We will update this information in the Fall of 2020.
If you are involved in a feminist or community group and are interested in working in collaboration with the Institute, please contact the Events Coordinator. We welcome your energy and enthusiasm!
Our participation and support can take a variety of forms, from providing access to space at the university to assisting with event organization.
In the past, we have collaborated by co-sponsoring events, endorsing a coalition, offering assistance in events planning, or providing space to a group to hold a press conference.
The SdBI considers proposals for academic, community and student events. All proposals must be submitted to the Forum Committee, which meets monthly to assess proposals based on a number of factors including the event's relevance to the SdBI mandate.
The Forum Committee meets twice per semester to make decisions about sponsorships. To be considered, please submit your proposals to the Events Coordinator. Please note that we only accept submissions from September to April.
