WSSR Workshops and Events

The Department of Political Science has proudly organized the annual Workshops on Social Science Research since 2008.  These worksops are now offered three times a year in Winter, Spring, and Fall.
The WSSR workshops are short, intensive learning experiences and networking opportunities that allow you to develop your critical thinking skills, make new contacts, and succeed as future decision makers.
Come learn from influential public figures and renowned academics about democratic governance, public policy, social justice, political theory and research methodology.

The WSSR is 10 Years Old!

In celebration of the WSSR’s 10-year anniversary, under the theme of “Deliberating a Public Agenda for Election 2019”, Fall 2018 will be the first of four semesters designed to explore the many important topics and issues that we will be facing as a society leading into the 2019 Canadian Federal election.
Throughout the next year, the WSSR will expand on this theme with a series of special workshops, public deliberation forums, and other focused activities all with the aim to inform and influence the development of a public agenda for Election 2019.

And more to come...
