Launched in 2008, the WSSR offer over 60 workshops and other public events every year on a variety of topics in the fields of Democratic Governance, Public Policy, Contemporary Political Theory, Social Justice, and both Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methodology.
These workshops and events are specially designed to enhance your understanding of important topics by complementing your conventional training, providing you with the most current insights, and exposing you to new networking opportunities.
In celebration of the WSSR’s 10-year anniversary, under the theme of “Deliberating a Public Agenda for Election 2019”, Fall 2018 will be the first of four semesters designed to explore the many important topics and issues that we will be facing as a society leading into the 2019 Canadian Federal election.
Throughout the next year, the WSSR will expand on this theme with a series of special workshops, public deliberation forums, and other focused activities all with the aim to inform and influence the development of a public agenda for Election 2019.
