Mary R. Anderson is the Chair and Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Tampa. She specializes in research on public opinion and political psychology. The focal point of her research centers around examining what factors lead individuals to engage in various types of political behaviors.
Dr. Anderson has taught a variety of courses including American Government, Public Opinion, Political Psychology, Political Networking—a Travel Course to DC, and Research Methods. Her work has been published in the American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, Journal of Women, Politics, and Policy, Journal of Human Rights, and Political Behavior. She is the author of 3 books. She lives in Tampa with her husband and three children.
