Jane Stinson

Jane Stinson has 40 years experience doing public policy research, analysis and advocacy during her 30 years working at the national office of the Canadian Union of Public Employees, through her community activism and through many community-university research projects including Initiatives in the New Economy, Changing Public Services and the Feminist Northern Network.

Jane has been active in CRIAW-ICREF – the Canadian Research Institute for the Advancement of Women for the past 10 years as a member of the Board of Directors, President, Project Director and Research Associate and involved in CRIAW’s efforts to develop feminist intersectional analysis and practice.

Ms. Stinson is also an Adjunct Research Professor at the Institute of Political Economy, Carleton University and was recently named one of Carleton’s 75 outstanding graduates by the School of Public Affairs for the 75th anniversary of the university.
