Carole MacNeil is the host of CBC New Network Tonight, a prime time talk show dedicated to the news of the day. It can be seen Monday to Friday from 7 to 9 pm ET. Up until October, 2017 Carole hosted weekend mornings on CBC News Network, including one of the highest rated political talk shows on the channel, The Sunday Scrum. From 2009 to 2016 MacNeil was host of CBC News Network with Carole MacNeil weekdays from 1-4. From 2002-2009, she hosted CBC News: Sunday and CBC News: Sunday Night. Prior to September 2002, MacNeil hosted the Toronto edition of Canada Now. She has hosted numerous live specials for CBC News: Sunday and for CBC Television. MacNeil was anchor of the Windsor evening news from 1994-1998.
