The Montreal Gazette’s search for 2017 summer interns has begun.

The Montreal Gazette runs a paid summer internship program for reporters and editors.

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic interns who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and experience the front lines of daily journalism in Montreal.

Available positions include general assignment reporters and digital editors.

Eligible applicants must be enrolled in a university-level program during the current academic year, and must be fluently bilingual. Those interested in general assignment reporting must hold a valid driver’s licence.

To apply, send a resume, up to five examples of your work as well as a cover letter explaining what makes you a good fit for the Montreal Gazette to internships@montrealgazette.com (mailto:internships@montrealgazette.com) by Nov. 4, 20116, 5 p.m. ET.

Interviews with chosen candidates will be set up for the weeks following the deadline.
