The History Department invites you to join to our fourth lecture series event this year on Friday,  Feb. 27 at 10:30 am in  LB-1014Dr. Ishita Pande from Queen's University will be speaking to us about her current research which treats the history of childhood, age stratification and the body in late colonial India. Her talk is entitled "The Case of the Bigamous Child Wife: Anglo-Muhammadan Law and the Epistemological Contract on Age."
