Seven of the 41 winners of Oui can help! bursaries.

On November 27, 2014, Concordia’s Oui Can Help! initiative, in collaboration with the Quebec government, awarded nearly $15,000 worth of bursaries to international and out-of-province students who have decided to tackle la langue de Molière. Concordia will also offer $70,000 in bursaries for French language learning next March.

“French is not an easy language to learn, especially as adults, and we are very proud to support students who choose to extend their knowledge through the Oui Can Help! initiative,” says Catherine Bolton, vice-provost of Teaching and Learning.

Oui Can Help! helps make the learning process easier by connecting students with French-language resources on campus and throughout the city.

“Concordia is committed to helping our international students learn French so that they can have more opportunities in Quebec society. We are proud of Oui Can Help!” says Provost Benoit-Antoine Bacon.
