Racialization and the University

The English Department is co-sponsoring and hosting a public talk and discussion on Racialization and the University on Monday, April 11 from 4-6 pm in LB-646. We hope you will be able to join us.

In the talk, Dr. Enakshi Dua, Associate Professor of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies at York University, and Dr. Audrey Kobayashi, Professor of Geography at Queen's University, will be outlining their recent research into the status of racialized minorities in Canadian universities, describing equity initiatives currently underway around the country, and answering some of our questions about how to go about making changes at Concordia.
