Associate Membership

Members of the Centre are selected from the full time faculty of Concordia University and are appointed by the Director of the CHRCS.

Associate Members are sponsored by two CHRCS Members, reviewed by the Management Team and appointed by the Board of Directors. Associate Members are individuals with the appropriate credentials (academic/practice), who are involved in activities that reflect the mission of the Centre. Typically an Associate Member will show this affiliation in one or more of the following areas:

Research – The individual has expertise in the research process with sophistication in conducting research in an area related to the Centre’s mission; has research articles published in recognized, refereed journals; has presented her/his research in a local, national and/or international forum; has research grants; and/or is a co-researcher with a Centre member.

Training – The individual is a recognized teacher/trainer in an area related to the Centre’s mission; has successfully created courses, workshops and/or training sessions; and vigorously supports advancement of teaching/training techniques and methods.

Coaching – The individual is a certified coach and is interested in the advancement of the field of coaching.

Consulting – The individual is a successful consultant in an area related to the mission of the Centre; has a thriving consulting practice; and is interested in the advancement of the field of consulting.

Community Service and Leadership – The individual is involved in diverse and practical community service activities; shows a vitality of contemporary and future-centered community activities and capacity building; and/or is an established community leader.

Publication – The individual is an author who wishes to publish a book through the centre.
